Point Reyes Lighthouse      1 Bear Valley Rd, Point Reyes Station, CA
The Lighthouse was closed when I have visited it (June 2010) due to high winds. The wind was blowing the visitors nearly away. Be sure to check the weather on the webpages of the Lighthouses along the PCH before visit as they are highly subject to be closed due to weather condition between June and September.

“Life Saving Station” Cemetery

Auf der Fahrt zurueck vom Lighthouse zum PCH kommt zuvor noch auf der linken Seite ein Weg zu einem alten Friedhof wo sogar ein Deutscher beerdigt ist. Wenn hier links abgebogen, kommt auf der rechten Seite eine Parkmoeglichkeit gleich kurz vor einem Schild was besagt, dass man den Weg nicht weiterbefahren darf (Privatbesitz). Auf der anderen Seite dann sieht man das untenstehende Bild. Auf “dem Huegel” befindet sich dann der Friedhof zwischen diesen Baeumen.
On the way back to the PCH comes on the left hand side a narrow way which leads you to a cemetery where also a German is burried. When turning here left, park your car to the right just before the sign which says that e.g. (cannot remember the words) that entering is prohibited. To the left you see the below view. The cemetery is “up the hill” between the trees.

Aufgrund schlechtem Wetter war der Zugang zu dem Leuchtturm ab Tunnel gesperrt. Due to bad weather access to the lighthouse was closed.

Ich bin dann ein Stueck wieder zurueckgefahren und fand einen Weg zur Rechten wo cih dann zum Wasser hinlaufen konnte. Von dort aus hatte ich wenigstens einen kleinen Blick auf den Leuchtturm, aber auch auf San Francisco.
I drove the same way back and took a right turn where I found a way to the beach. From there I had at least a view of the lighthouse, but also of San Francisco.
