Dieses absolute schraege Hotel mit Restaurant und Cafe versehen, ist einfach kitschig, aber absolut ein Muss, wenn
man sich in der Gegend befindet. Das Hotel verfuegt ueber teure Hotelzimmer, die in verschiedenem Stil eingerichtet
sind (z.B. The Cave mit einer wasserfallartigen Dusche). Ich denke, wenn man sich ein Zimmer hier leisten kann,
sollte man wirklich eines buchen.
This is a real strange place to visit. It is kinda cheezy but fun to have a look at it. Also check out the restrooms! They are one of a kind.
The rooms have a different style like  the cave with a shower which is like a waterfall. Or just have a coffee and a piece of cake...
If you are close by, please visit it. You have to see it!

Nicht so einfach zu finden, da man es von PCH kaum sieht.  Not easy to see from the PCH.

Santa Barbara

I took this picture because of the Vietnam Veteran and the Marine Officer. Today was a Military Parade going on. They also put again crosses at the beach showing how many american got killed in Iraq. This can be seen along the beach from time to time.

It was heartbreaking to see the two hugging.

Man kann entweder mit dem kleinen Shuttle zum Center fahren oder man laeuft einfach (vom Pier laeuft man einfach noerdlich die Hauptstrasse hoch am Leuchtturm vorbei sowie Bahnhof).
You can either take the shuttle to the center or you walk (from the pier go kinda north on the main street heading to the center passing the Lighthouse and train station).

Heute gab es einen Bazar der orientalischen Art. Today they had an oriental bazar going on.

COLD STONES  Eisladen / Ice Cream shop
Man sucht sich die Waffel aus, das Eis und dann die suessen Zutaten, die dann unter das Eis vermengt werden.
You choose a kind of cone, the ice cream and the sweet ingredient which will be then mixed with the ice cream.

Weiter die Hauptstrasse runter findet man auf der linken Strassenseite eine Shopping Area.
Further down the Main Street you will find to the left a shopping alley.

Diese zwei huebschen kamen direkt auf mich zugesteuert und sprachen auch praktisch in meine Fotokamera. Dabei ist meine Kamera nicht so gross, um sie mit einer Profi Kamera zu verwechseln oder mich gar als Journalistin zu halten.
These tow sweethearts were kind amislead by my camera. They have thought that I am a journalist as they were coming straight to me and started to talk to me AND my camera.
