Poppy Festival

In der Naehe von Lancaster befindet sich der kleine Park    Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve 
Hier ist es am Besten, dass man sich vorher mit einem Parkangestellten per e/Mail in Verbindung setzt, um sich zu erkundigen, ob noch die Mohnblumen bluehen. Ich bin trotz allem hingefahren und fand nur noch trockenes “Gestruepp” vor. Allerdings hatte ich mal Glueck, ein paar Mohnblumen aufzufinden.

Please get in touch with one of the parks employees before visiting. You can ask them by e/mail if the poppies are blooming. I went to the park though I knew that I won’t get that lucky to find the whole park blooming. I just found some poppies. Everything else was dried out.
