Fahrt um den “Salton Sea”. Baden natuerlich nicht moeglich nicht nur wegen dem salzhaltigen Wasser, sondern weil das Wasser leider auch verseucht ist. Hier wohnen wirklich noch ein paar Leute, allerdings nicht wirklich in so guten Verhaeltnissen...

Driving around “Salton Sea”. Bathing not possible not only due to the salty water, but also due to contaminated water. It is unbelievable that still some people here.

Drive from Palm Springs going south ahead Salton Sea and arriving at Salton Sea at the northern part. Going then from here East and then south in order to make it all the way around the Sea. Like half way on the East side of Salton Sea is SALVATION MOUNTAIN. Please click here for pictures.

I always wanted to know what’s at the Salton Sea. Therefore, I just went and had a look. It was quite interesting, but it is nothing really for outside tourists, but maybe Salvation Mountain is at is quite interesting to visit it.
