The Times befindet sich gegenueber der City Hall. Direkt vor The Times gibt es Meter Parking, denn direkt um City Hall gibt es kein Strassenparken. The Times is close to the City Hall. You cannot miss it. There is street parking around it.

The daily newspaper Los Angeles is also called LA Times. It is printed and published in Los Angeles, but also published worldwide. It is the second biggest newspaper and the third biggest widespreaded in the US. Besides that they are online at www.latimes.com. The newspaper was established in 1881 and won 37 pulitzer till 2004. Among them are 4 in “Editorial cartooning” and one in “Sport News” for reports of the Watts Riots in 1965 and LA Riots in 1992. In 2004 they won 5 prices and became third place for prices won within a year: NY Times in 2002 with 7 prices and Washington Post in 2008 with 6 prices.

Unten sieht man den Eingang vom Stadium/Elysian Park. Auch wenn man nicht zum Spiel will und somit keine Karte in Haenden haelt, kann man zum Dodger Laden fahren. Hierzu faehrt man rechts beim Eingang vor und sagt, dass man zum Shop moechte. Um dahinzukommen haelt man sich an der blauen Linie auf der Strasse, die einen direkt zum Lot P fuehrt. Hier kann man in den Shop reinlaufen, sich draussen am Schalter Tickets kaufen oder einfach kurz reinlaufen, um von oben einen Blick auf das Stadium zu wagen. Below you see the entrance to the parking area. You can also enter without a ticket if there is no game. Entrane is to the right and just tell the security that you wanna visit the gift shop only. Then follow the blue line on the street which leads you to Lot P close to the gift shop. Visit the gift shop, buy a ticket for the next game or just walk in to the stadium to have a look.
Das einzige groesste Baseball Stadium seit 1923 was durch private Finanzierung erbaut wurde. “Erste Spatenstich” 17. September 1959; Eroeffnungsspiel 10. April 1962; am 12. April 1962 gewidmet an alle loyalen und geduldigen Fans, fuer die sich die ganze Muehe lohnte. This Baseball stadium is one of the biggest which was built in 1923 through private financing. The first cut with a spade was on September 17, 1959; opening game April 10, 1962; and dedicated to the loyal and patient fans April 12, 1962.

WDCH wurde von Frank Gehry konstruiert. Yasuhisa Toyota von Nagata Acoustics sorgte fuer die ausserordentlich gute Akustik. Ein Konzertbesuch ist sicherlich ein richtiger Ohrenschmauss. Auf der Buehne gibt es eine grosse Orgelpfeife. You can explore the structure itself from outside by walking around it or also going upstairs.
