Sollte die Show um 16 Uhr anfangen, wuerde ich raten, nicht erst um 15 Uhr am Studio zu erscheinen, sondern etwa eher. Das Ticket sichert keinen Sitzplatz im Zuschauerbereich. If you are lucky you can get a ticket (free). They are sold out fast so have a look weeks ahead! If you book this free ticket, print it out and keep it with you. Be there way more than an 1 1/2 hours as this ticket does not ensure you a seat. They give out more tickets than here are seats. A show could last more than 4 hours. You will get mostly a pizza, sweets and drinks. You are allowed to use the restroom, but you cannot get in back while filming. Cameras are not allowed! Before the show you can even ask questions to the actors and afterwards grapping probably an autograph. So keep a pen and paper or a baseball cap handy.
Habe eine Tour der Sony Studios mit meinen Kollegen gemacht. Unten sieht man den Eingang zu den Sony Studios wo unsere Tour starten sollte. In diesem Gebaeude befinden sich die Bueros und u.a. ein kleines Kino wo neue Clips/Filme den zustaendigen Mitarbeitern vorgefuehrt werden. Wir durften uns auch in dieses Kino setzen und einen Clip ueber die Sony Studios und deren neuen Produktionen ansehen. Danach liefen wir mit dem Tour Guide rueber zu den Studios, die sich auf der anderen Strassenseite befinden. I did the VIP Tour with my colleagues. The pic below shows you the Sony Studios Offices where we met the tour guide. In this buliding are not only offices, but also some movie props on display and a small theatre where they show the latest productions to their employees in charge. We also sit in that theatre where they showed us a clip with the history of the studio and some of the latest productions. Afterwards we walked across the street to the studios where the acutal tour starts.

Nicht ueberall war fotografieren erlaubt bzw. es gab nichts interessantes zu fotografieren. Daher nur ein paar Bilder. Das erste Gebaeude was wir sahen sah von Aussen wie eine High School aus und wird auch fuer dies genutzt allerdings nur die Aussenansicht. Sobald man ins Gebaeude laeuft, weiss man warum. Es gibt nur einen kleinen Raum der mit original Oscars ausgestattet ist (“Vom Winde verweht” etc.). Hier war fotografieren leider auch nicht erlaubt. Photography was not allowed everywhere, but to be honest, not a lot was really worth it to take a picture of. Due to this, I only show you some pics. The first building we saw looked like a High School and exactly that is what they used it for, but only the outside. We went in and there were only a small room which was used to display original oscars such as of the movie “Gone with the wind”.
In erster Linie sahen wir die Studiogebaeude nur von Aussen, da einige leer waren oder bereits fuers Filmen vorbereitet wurden oder waren. Wir liefen allerdings durch die “Stadt” die voll von Geschaeften, Bueros, Gift Shop und Restaurant war. Hier liefen die Angestellten rum und genossen ihren Kaffee oder Mittagessen. Wir sahen auch die grosen bemalten Leinwaende, die in den Filmen die Hinterkulisse hergeben. Dann sahen wir das Studio zu “Wheel of Fortune”. Adam Sandler hat hier auch seine Produktionsfirma. Mostly we saw the studio buildings from outside as they are not allowed to show something which is used currently for movie productions. We walked through the “City” which is full with shops, gift shops, restaurant etc. We also saw the studio to “Wheel of Fortune”.
