Hier besteht ein “Cruising” Verbot. Dies bedeutet, dass man innerhalb von 4 Stunden nicht mehr als einmal die Strasse hoch- oder runterfahren darf (?). So verstand ich es jedenfalls.
A sign tells that crusing is prohibited (no driving up and down the street within 4 hours).

Am Sunset Blvd. befinden sich viele Restaurants in allen Preisklassen. Fruehstueck ist gar nicht mal so teuer mit etwas über 10 Dollar.
There are of course plenty of restaurants on the Sunset Blvd. as well clubs and shops. You can also find unpricy restaurants.

Live Music am Sunset Blvd.

House of Blues        8430 W Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles

Eroeffnet in April 1994 von dem Star aus "Blues Brothers" und "Ghostbusters"  Dan Aykroyd. Gehoert allerdings nicht ihm, sondern dem Star Friseur und Geschaeftsmann Paul Mitchell. Das House of Blues faellt einem sofort auf dem Sunset Blvd. auf. Es ist auch ein Restaurant. Bitte genau checken wann es wirklich geoeffnet hat.
Sonntags gibt es ein wunderbares SUNDAY GOSPEL BRUNCH. Die hauseigene Band singt einfach genial. Ein wahrhaft tolles Erlebnis allerdings lassen sie sich auch gut dafuer bezahlen. Ueber das Internet kann man Tickets bestellen. Allerdings mit Gebuehr kostet der Spass schon um die 60 Dollar.

The House of Blues was opened in April 1994 by Dan Aykroyd known also from the Blues Brothers and Ghostbusters. But the House of Blues is owned by Paul Mitchell, a well known owner of the Paul Mitchell hairstyling shops. Besides great music they also have a restaurant and a gift shop. Der Club gehoerte einst Johnny Depp. Hier verstarb Jungstar River Phoenix an einer Ueberdosis. Angeblich nicht eines der guten Clubs in Hollywood.
The Club was formerly owned by Johnny Depp. Youngstar River Phoenix died due to overdose on drugs. Reviews saying that this club is not one of the best.

Saddle Ranch Chop House      8371 W Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles.

Bar, in der man aber auch gut Essen kann. Mit Bull-riding und Pool Table. Ist auch geoeffnet zu ueber Weihnachten und Silvester. Dann sind sie noch mehr besucht als sonst.  Wenn man am Abend herkommt um etwas zu Essen, dann wartet man mal schon ueber eine Stunde...

Hier kann man m.E. gut Burger und Wraps essen. Man sitzt in einem alten Waggon!!! Die Location an sich (Waggon) ist schon in kleines persönliches Erlebnis. Ich liebe es.
Burgers are the second best in town (just after In N Out Burger). If you do not want ketchup on the burger just ask for thousand islands. The burger ist not a big one that is why I like it. The waggon is quite nice and it is a great experience. There is another one on Ventura Blvd. just about one or two miles East of Laurel Canyon Blvd.

All American Burger          7660 W Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles

Diesen Burgerladen kann ich ganz und gar NICHT empfehlen (hatte Bauchschmerzen danach). Mein erster “All American Burger” war auch somit mein letzter. Das Fleisch empfand ich mehr als geschmacklos. Ich kann nicht verstehen, warum es einige moegen. Evtl. muesste man mal was anderes probieren als einen Burger, aber der Laden ist nicht einladend und gehoert der Kategorie “B” an. Es gibt die Kategorien A, B und C.
NOT recommending!!! I had my first burger which after I had terrible stomach problems. Meat was tasteless.

Marokkanisches Essen. Man kann als Gruppe nur EIN Mehrgaenge Menue bestellen was wir gar nicht so gut fanden. Wir wollten lieber alle was anderes... Und trotz Teilen, muss jeder den hohen Preis zahlen. Bauchtanz inklusive.
Moroccon food. As a group you can only chose one menu which you share. That is not so nice as everybody had a different taste. Best is to get the menu ahead to see if you like it. Though you share one menu, each person has to pay a fortune. Bellydancing!
