Um den 16. Dezember (wie am 16.12.2007) gibt es eine Lichtershow auf den Venice Kanaelen. Diese Kanaele sind jederzeit besuchbar.
Around December 16 (like on Dec 16, 2007) they have a lightshow at the Venice Canals. But you can visit the Canals whenever you want. They are open to the public. Please respect the resident’s privacy.

Außerdem werden zwei bestimmte Haeuser (2 gleichaussehende, nebeneinanderstehende, zu finden, wenn man von S. Venice Blvd. rechts auf die Ocean Ave. faehrt. Dann rechts zur 1. Bruecke laufen.) zu Weihnachten und Halloween extrem geschmueckt.
There are also two similar homes which get decorated for Halloween and christmas. You are also allowed then to walk the front yard and have a look at the enormous decoration. Please ask the owner first before entering their front yard.

Wie kommt man da hin? 
Sollte man von der Washington Blvd. Richtung Strand fahren (also westlich), dann kann man rechts in die Dell Ave. fahren, sodass man ueber die
28th Ave. faehrt. Man kann mit dem Wagen langsam ueber die Bruecken fahren. Parken kann man evtl. an der Strasse auf der Ocean Ave. zwischen S. Venice Blvd. und 28th Ave.

How to get there
If you are coming from Washington Blvd. going to the beach (that’s West), turn right on Dell Ave. and cross 28th. Feel free to drive over the little bridges by car. But afterwards park it like on Ocean Ave. and walk around to enjoy the area
